Biography: Dr. Marek received his Medical Degree from the Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his first and second year internship and medical residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Bronx Municipal Hospital Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Marek served in the Department of Internal Medicine and Cardiology for the U.S. Army Medical Corps.

Dr. Marek is a highly dedicated Cardiologist who has been practicing in South Florida since 1998 after relocating from the New York area. He served as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catherization Lab at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL from 1996-2006. He specializes in Cardiac Catherizations and Peripheral Intervention.
