Biography: Dr. Ira Katz received his Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Katz also completed his postgraduate Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship Training Program at the University of Miami School of Medicine and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Katz is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, and has been practicing medicine since 1998. He holds a strong interest in teaching and the pursuit of Endocrinology's newest clinical research. Furthermore, Dr. Katz has been listed yearly as a Patient's Choice Award winner and Compassionate Doctor by the America Registry since 2008.

As a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, Dr. Katz specializes in the following fields of medicine and disorders:
