Electrophysiology Services

  

An Electrophysiology study is a test that records the electrical activity and measures the electrical pathways of the heart. This test safely reproduces the patient's abnormal heart rhythm to determine the cause of heart rhythm disturbance. Then the patient is given different medications to see which is most effective for controlling heart beat rhythm.

Our Electrophysiology Department can assess pacemakers, defibrillators and most other tools used to assess the electrical activity of the heart. Michael Ringstadt, L.P.N., a United States Ranger Veteran, runs the 24-hour telemetry and device service for Healthworx. In conjunction with our electrophysiologist, they have vast experience in arrhythmia management.
