Electron Beam Tomography, or EBT is the technology used in the full body scan screening devices for the detection of health conditions such as cancer, disease, or abnormalities of the heart, liver, lungs, kidneys, colon and other organs in the body. Much faster than more traditional CT scans. EBT is also used to find early signs of coronary artery disease.

The FDA has approved the Electron Beam Tomography and certified the full body scan which can also detect tumors and intestinal abnormalities, as well as other organ disorders that may also be revealed at early stages of development.

Traditional CT equipment is usually reserved for head scans for evaluating brain tumors. CT scan are more commonly used to detect other infections or problems with the eyes, ear, nose or throat.
